The purpose of the South Florida Region Administration Subcommittee is to complement the work of the RSC. They provide additional support, expertise, and hands-on involvement in various aspects of the RSC. The Administrative Subcommittee is comprised of the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer, Alternate Treasurer, Secretary, Alternate Secretary, Member-At-Large, Regional Delegate, and Alternate Delegate. The subcommittee meets on the Saturday of the regional weekend.

The Administrative Subcommittee performs its functions by:

Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson:

  • Presides over the RSC.
  • Enforces the rules of decorum, discipline, and parliamentary procedures,
  • Creates Ad Hoc Committees.
  • Co-signers of the regional bank account.
  • Facilitates policy reviews.

Secretary and Alternate Secretary:

  • Is responsible for the written record of the RSC,
  • Keeps a contact list of all RSC trusted servants.
  • Types the minutes and distributes them following the RSC.
  • Digitizes records and files and coordinates for storage on the website.
  • Updates the policy after each RSC.

Treasurer and Alternate Treasurer:

  • Keeps a record of all transactions and disbursements,
  • Prepares a financial report to the RSC,
  • Collects all donations from groups, areas, individuals, committees, and deposits.
  • Supplies all subcommittees with reports of all unused budget items.

Regional and Alternate Delegate:

  • The primary purpose of the RD is to link our region to Narcotics Anonymous World Services.
  • Presents minutes from the World Service Conference and the World Board—reports on activities from the Southeastern Zonal Forum.
  • Conducts CAR and CAT workshops.
  • Maintains liability insurance for the region.
  • Assists and advises the RSC on matters related to policy.

Member at Large:

  • Helps advise the RSC on matters related to policy.
  • Assist in scheduling and hosting the RSC weekends.
  • Coordinates with hosting areas for workshops.
  • Is responsible for any duties that a member of the admin cannot perform.
